Sharphill Wood Work PartySharphill Wood Work PartyTime: 10:00 am - 3:00 pm We meet at the top of Peveril Drive at approximately 09:45, so we can get the tools up the hill, to start work for 10:00. Our normal work parties run till about 15:00 depending on light and weather conditions, however if you can only spare a couple of hours that’s fine with us. Jobs vary from planting hedging, tidying up litter and felling fast growing sycamores. Gloves and other equipment is provided. Join a working party to help ensure the Skipper’s continued, and hopefully expanded, presence. The work includes clearance work to maintain open habitat and help create corridors to link existing open habitats, and creation of bare earth patches to increase the availability of suitable egg-laying habitat.
