A walk round this hidden grassland wildlife haven on the edge of Radcliffe on Trent with Keith Wakerley, looking at wildflowers and butterflies. Meet 2 pm at the entrance on Cropwell Road going out of Radcliffe, parking on the left about 150m beyond the traffic lights up the hill.

We meet at the top of Peveril Drive at approximately 09:45, so we can get the tools up the hill, to start work for 10:00. Our normal work parties run till about lunch-time , or occasionally into the afternoon if we have a lot to do. However if you can only spare a couple of hours that’s fine with us. Jobs vary from planting hedging, tidying up litter and felling fast growing sycamores. Gloves and other equipment are provided. Please contact sharphillwood@yahoo.co.uk if you intend to participate.
