The SNG Winter 2011 Newsletter

Welcome to the Winter 2011 edition of our local group newsletter, which covers the period December 2011 to early April 2012. A printed copy of this newsletter will be sent out to each NWT member with an address in the south Notts area, along with their copies of Nottinghamshire Wildlife magazine and Wild About Notts, the county-wide local action newsletter. You can also download a copy of our local newsletter as-printed.

In this online edition the articles match those of the printed edition, and you can simply choose from the contents list in the side panel. And as we aren’t constrained by the limitations of print, we can include a few extras, such as active links to websites mentioned in articles and additional pictures. The website diary pages are kept up-to-date with any changes to the Out & About and Talks programmes – so they may be different to your printed copy.

This issue’s featured website: Amphibian and Reptile Groups of the UK

Amphibian and Reptile Groups of the UK is the umbrella body for over 60 study groups throughout the country, including one in Nottinghamshire. Their website has links to the groups, identification guides and online sighting reports. There’s also news of their projects, meetings and events, and advice on things like habitat conservation.

A note on email contact details
