Out and about

The last talk of our winter programme follows our AGM.

Our spring and early summer programme then has seventeen outdoor events, covering a wide variety of wildlife interests, habitats and locations, with weekend, midweek and evening dates:

Weekend, daytime

• Sunday 1^st April (morning) – Woodland in spring at Wilford Hill Wood
• Sunday 15^th April (very early morning!) – Dawn chorus at Bunny Wood
• Sunday 29^th April (morning & afternoon) – Bunny Wood Wildflower Open Day
• Sunday 13^th May (morning) – Keyworth Meadow Nature Reserve for spring wildlife
• Saturday 2^nd June (morning & afternoon) – Butterflies at Cotgrave Country Park
• Sunday 3^rd June (morning & afternoon) – Wilwell Cutting Reserve Open Day
• Saturday 16^th June (afternoon) – The Wildlife of East Bridgford
• Sunday 17^th June (morning & afternoon) – Go Wild in the Park
• Sunday 17^th June (morning) – Summer wildlife along the Bingham Linear Park
• Saturday 14^th July (morning) – Staunton Quarry nature reserve
• Saturday 25^th August (afternoon) – Bugs and Beasties Foray at Bunny Wood

Midweek, daytime

• Wednesday 4^th July (morning) – Holwell and North Quarry
• Wednesday 15^th August (morning & afternoon) – Dragonflies along the Grantham Canal

Evening

• Wednesday 18^th April – Evening bat walk along the Green Line
• Wednesday 16^th May – Green Line wildflower walk
• Friday 1^st June – Moth trapping at Cotgrave Country Park
• Tuesday 12^th June – Gotham Pastures and Sandbanks
