South Notts Spring Fair Venue: St Peter’s Rooms, Ruddington
The South Notts Group of the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust hold an annual Spring Fair fund-raising event. It is usually held in late May at St Peter’s Rooms in Ruddington, a large village some 5 miles south of Nottingham city centre.
All goods sold at the Spring Fair are donated and the fair is run entirely by our group’s volunteers, so all the money we raise goes directly to support the work of the Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust, both in Rushcliffe and throughout the county.
At the Spring Fair we sell the following goods:
- Plants – A good selection of summer bedding, perennials, herbs,
vegetables, shrubs and house plants. There are often unusual varieties and interesting
- Home Baking – Excellent cakes, pastries, breads and biscuits! All
baked specially for the occasion
- CDs, DVDs & Records – films, music, audio books and collectors’ items for vinyl enthusiasts!
We also run a welcoming Café where visitors to the Spring Fair can get tea, coffee, soft drinks and home-baked cakes and scones.
Ruddington has an excellent selection of shops and other facilities. So take a break from the weekly supermarket run by visiting Ruddington to support our Spring Fair and local businesses!
